milod Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Two points that I think hit all styles. 1. Notice they're obviously having fun. 2. They're playin' relaxed even though there's apparently little room for error. Pros. m
Blackie Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 They could have made errors but a lot of us would never know.
AXE® Posted April 17, 2010 Author Posted April 17, 2010 I didn't think this would fly to high here but a little diversity was worth a try. A Guitar player can incorporate many of these styles in their repertoires but fail to see the AXEual fun and fluidity involved. Pity really.
cwness Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 I guess I would listen to these guys any day over BH CW
Jantha Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Great stuff! Jerry Reed was one cool dude. I grew up listening to his music.. I always loved it. Chet Atkins was simply amazing in my opinion. Cool to see them together.. Thanks for the video!
FirstMeasure Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Jerry did a Great album in the early 90's not a lot of folks knew about. Had this apearence by Chet on it... Not as Awe inspiring as Jerry's Breakdown, But tasty.
Blackie Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 OK pull that dam banjo over there............pull it over I said...........we gone have to give you a little drug test .....before you get any record
TommyK Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Love those two guys. They'd have had as much or more fun after the cameras were turned off. Ah, I remember those shirts. Jerry's classic 'cut-away' appears to be an after market mod. You think? Roy Clark, Yesterday When I Was Young. One of his best. Chet, Roy, and Jerry, in no particular order. None better.
