Yaff Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Both would be fantastic, its down to personal taste and budget. You need to try some out for your self. The Faded will have a little darker tone, as no Maple top. I would also expect that you would need to pay more for a second hand classic than a new Faded.

NeoConMan Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 I'm not a fan of cheap, sh!tty finishes. The Classic is regarded as a real Les Paul, not a compromise that left the factory without seeing the paint shop. Swap pickups if you don't like the ceramics, make the tone yours.
