zombiebear Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 I just got my hardware in today and installed it, but i still have a bit to do, as in filling 3 of the 4 tone/volume holes. Filling in the toggle switch, and filling in the Neck pickup. Yes this is probably a shame to the gibson name, but this is my guitar and it suits my style, and i want it to stand out. Obviously i am not concerned about re-sale value, i plan on keeping this baby. This is to share and let other people see what they can do to mod their les pauls. So please no hating.
BigKahune Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 What are you gonna do with the neck pup cavity?
zombiebear Posted April 19, 2010 Author Posted April 19, 2010 What are you gonna do with the neck pup cavity? Im currently cutting out a piece of wood that will fit into that cavity. I will then have to do some sort of re paint, just not sure what kind yet.
Riffster Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 Are you looking for a permanent plug on the pickup cavity and the knobs holes? You can probably, find something decorative to plug them or could hide them under a well designes pickguard but the carved to poses a challenge on this last suggestion.

Im currently building a "Rocky" strat, so my gibson is on hold for the current moment.
