I've been using a Stiletto half stack for a little over a year, and I'm never getting rid of that amp. I have the 1st gen Marshall Micro Stack, a Fender SCXD, Fender Blues Jr. I don't gig, so I don't really have a chance to open the Jr up. Would love to do it soon. So, I recommend getting at least one of everything. But, if I were only to have one amp, then my favorite is my old 1982 Fender Super Champ. Yes, folks the Super Champ had been around since the 80s. Its not the same amp as the Super Champ XD that is currently available. IanHenry Posted October 5, 2010 Share Posted October 5, 2010 Does anyone here have any experience of the VHT Special 6 combo? I currently use a Marshall MG15FX, but I don’t particularly like it. I play a Gibson Les Paul Classic (with the ceramic pick ups) which sounds quite dirty. I only play at home so I was thinking the little 6 watt VHT might be quite nice, although it has no reverb built in. I had never heard of VHT until I recently so one being used at a gig.
