I've been in school of some sort post HS for 12 of the last 14 years. I'm not sure it is a hobby, but it's nerdy as hell.

Dom,

Don't ruin it for me! I started playing(practicing) about a year ago for that reason. Damn it, just like those chess lessons.

I collect comics. Probably have more than 5000 of them right now.

I collected when I was younger. I tried to sell them when I was going through a divorce. After striking out with eBay and the local shops, I threw them away. They were mostly from the early to mid 70s. I'm sure some were worth some cash.

I ride a road bike in the summer and get a little nerdy with the bike pants, but usually wear shorts over them so my kids don't laugh at me.

I still have all my Archie comics from the 60s up in the attic. Plus some hot rod oriented comics. No idea how many, 3 or 4 boxes.

As to nerdy obsessions/hobbies. I collect old transistor radios (about 140 at last count). I used to collect lighters and probably have 40 or so.

My latest oddball thing is old coffee pots. Not fancy ones, just run of the mill aluminum stove top pots from the 30s up. My latest is a WearEver from the late 30s or so. Five bucks on ebay. And I do use them every day. I'll never own another Mr Coffee type.

Proof I have no life: My newest acquisition perking coffee on my 1955 GE stove.

Pokemon, I was hooked 15 years ago still am today. I'd be more embarrassed but that game has sold over 1.5 billion copies so I'm not the only one out there. (That's 1.5 billion over 15 years, not like, any one particular title.)

Outside of retro-porn' date=' I'm into model railroading and gardening.[/quote']

My brother got a new Lionel train in 1957. The transformer disappeared in the 60s sometime. I now have it mounted on a section of track on a shelf over my living room windows.
