1988. 1999, les paul with hbl pickups are they to hot?

I was wondering forum thoughts on these pickups, i saw a les paul on you tube with them but hard to tell what they would do with my amp.. my friend says they are way hotter , i have played pro burstbuckers for awhile and like them..

Sorry, never heard these pickups. I have an '89 SG and payed same price for it. I love it, the CB pickups sounds sweet on it, I'm leaving it stock on mine. Did you buy it??

no i didn;t buy it but i am looking for one with the hbl pickups to try out.....
