Californiaman Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 I found a great looking 2002 Gibson Les Paul flame top in honey sunburst. It weighs 8 lb. 15 oz., comes with original Gibson case and is in great shape. I was actually in Lenny's shop two weeks ago checking out his National Resophonics. He's the area's biggest dealer for National. Anyway, I can't get a hold of him and the problem is I don't know if it's a Historic, a Traditional, a Studio, a Special, a Supreme or what. It's my guess it's weight relieved and got a couple sound chambers under the maple cap. What do you know about the 2002 Les Pauls? Riffster Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Well, it has a Nashville bridge, a low bridge pickup ring and a normal truss rod cover. It does not look like a historic to me. If it was a more expensive guitar than what it is he would price it that way. Back in 2002 there was no traditional and it is not a studio or a supreme, it could only be a standard or a classic. I have seen ads from this seller in th elocal Craigslist actually, he had an actual 1952 LP for sell a few months ago.
Californiaman Posted April 22, 2010 Author Posted April 22, 2010 Well I've got the serial number and a little more information on the guitar. Lenny just told me that it's got a '59 style neck but he thinks it's a standard flame top. Serial Number is 00682624
