I can't get it back in tune!!! Please help me, I'm just getting to know my guitar and I don't know the MCK symbols yet, I get a yellow flashing symbol and I don't know what it means! I really hope you can help me I really want to get the most out of this guitar. Thanks! -Monica
corrmon Posted April 23, 2010 Author Posted April 23, 2010 Yes it does help! I have another problem tho my fifth string snapped I have tried to replace it but the strings I have seem to be of a thinner gauge, do you know what gauge are the Dark Fire Strings? Thanks :-
tronical.member Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 corrmon, you most likely entered "string down mode" unintentionally. Read your manual. You can use any string gauge, refer also to the restring procedure described in the manual. Tronical You play. We tune.
corrmon Posted April 23, 2010 Author Posted April 23, 2010 Thanks very much for your reply just one last question, the strings I bought are Gibson Bright wires .038w .030w .021w .015 .010 .008 super ultra light gauge, would these work fine with my dark fire?!? Or would they break faster than a heavier gauge, Or which gauge would you recommend. You can totally tell I'm a beginner Thanks again! -Monica
