My word, what is the Les Paul in the Heritage Cherry Sunburst-like finish? The one without the pickguard? It's absolutely gorgeous.

Thanks, that 1 is a 50th. Anniversary 2009 R9. not 1 of the 500 but came directly from the Custom shop. It's color is called "Rustburst" 1 of 59 made and was the 1 that started me on the craze of flame tops. The other 1 is a 2009,R9, 50th.Anniversary 1/500 Darkburst which i got at a price i could not walk away from.

Are you doing this to fade the finish?

No, I did want to get some pics outside as to see the guitar in better definition. Each were out for tops, 15 minutes. although ,as you bring it up , i'm looking at a R0 1960 reissue ver.#3, 1/500 that needs some help in showing the flame and maybe a little sun will bring it out. But i still need to buy it. The price is right but the top is not all that good. The store and i are waiting to see what happens in a few days to see if the color lightens up so that the figure comes though.

Any feedback on this would be great.

Whoa!

These pics are much nicer than the ones I saw before.

You've got some smokin' figuring on every one of those beauties.

Gorgeous finishes. :-k

Holy crap. Do you buy the resissues used or new? I would like to get one down the road, but need to buy used to make it work financially. Those are just amazing looking.

Thanks man, That's why i took them outside. Nothing like the Sun to give you true color. I've been very lucky with the

tops i've found. Although some of the other guys here, have real killer tops. But all the same, i'm happy with what i have.

Next and last will be either a R0 50th.ver.3 or a '58 reissue in tea color ,very nice flame great price. I'll post pics when i get it.

Thanks man, I get all of them New. One day my grandson will be very happy. If he keeps playing, he'll have one hell of a collection.

That "rustburst" is so beautiful that if it had a **** I'd suck it! And I'm not even gay!

Awesome collection jamman. Now I have guitar envy.

LPguitarman Don't envy me. I waited a very long time before i could afford to even think about buying a Gibson, after i had to sell the first 1. At 54, I'm just making up for lost time. And life is short. Get what you can and never look back.

Thanks for the kind words.

Thanks , it plays better than it looks. everyday i play it, i'm glad i got it. Sweet , full sounding guitar.

And if you take enough pics , sooner or later you'll get a good one. I learned that before the digital age, when film was used.

The 356 is and the others are just flames.Thanks.
