Static noise as i play and rest my little finger on the body

as i move my hand and my pinky rests on the body it makes a static noise thru amp even on low volume-- Les Paul custom Axcess and my custom fender do it--amps are Fender Twin 2 yrs old and a 66 Fender princeton--any resolve ??????

Sounds like static buildup. Try wiping down with some fabric softener sheets (after they have been in the dryer with a load of clothes). In the winter when it is dry here I shove one in the control cavity and leave it there. Seems to do the trick for me.
