Creating tablature via software?

Does anyone here have any experience with tablature software of any type? Looking around I've found a few things online, but haven't really investigated this area too thoroughly. If anyone here has played around with this type of thing and found something that you would recommend, I'd be interested to learn more.

I use Guitar Pro as well. It is pretty good and not too expensive; about $60 if I recall. They just came out with a new release; haven't tried it yet.

 

One cool thing is you can download tunes in Guitar Pro from Ultimate-guitar.com for free.
