rampagingsloth Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 ...my Gibson Les Paul Studio Lite, Brewzer! He turned 19 today! Why no pics? 'Cause from what I've read in this forum, everyone would hate him! Here's why: 1. He's a studio. 2. I topwrap the stopbar. 3. I had it autographed (behind the stopbar so it wouldn't wear off) by Nick Catanese. But I love him and that's all that matters to me. There's nothing better than a Gibson. ANY Gibson.
Big Bill Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Where did you read this? I'm sure I can speak for most of the Les Paul parents and say "we would love to see picks Lester". :)
cwness Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 No pic's or it didn't happen. Mine turned 24 this year. I had it in and just got it back tonight. New bone nut and the frets leveled and crowned. This is the last time I wait this long (5 years) to have it in again. Now it plays like it use to. I now how you feel about yours and I feel the same the thing just rocks. CW
cwness Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Sweet!!! Like the blue beautiful color and not many of them. SD pups too. CW
rampagingsloth Posted April 30, 2010 Author Posted April 30, 2010 Many Thanks. Had some problems with the 500T and 496R so I swapped 'em out for a JB n Jazz I had hangin' 'round. I'm going to put 'em back in next string change.
BigKahune Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Nice! I like the cool look you've got going there - black and blue. Is it the light or did you swap out the original bridge, stop and tuners to black? Or is that factory? Really cool.
Flight959 Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 There is nothing wrong with a Studio! Great guitars! Welcome to the forum! :)
G McBride Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 I have a beautiful black and chrome Studio that I play and I love it. Nice guitar you have and what you do with it or how you do it is all personal preference. Thanks for posting pics.
rampagingsloth Posted May 1, 2010 Author Posted May 1, 2010 The black hardware is all stock. The tuners have Gibson wrote in silver. Thanks to all.
