In 1974 a Les Paul Standard was NOT a current production model, they didn't return to "normal" factory production of the sunburst, humbucker, Standard until 1975.

ALTHOUGH, there are published sources (real books, not intenet crap) that state that there was ONE "'58 Reissue Standard" shipped in 1974. Is this the one? I've NEVER seen a pre-75 sunburst Standard (with humbuckers), but "supposedly" they shipped about 1050 of them between '71 & '75.

Detailed photos, AND serial number will be needed to continue this conversation. IF it is one of the 1050 that have never been seen from the '71-'75 period (or the ONE from '74), it could be a very rare "58 Reissue", but not necessarily, valuable guitar (it was the Norlin era).

1974 what would it be worth.

I think Gruhn will do a meaningful written estimate from detailed pictures.
