Chipsus Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Hello everyone, I have a gibson sg, but I do not know which Sg it is. I want to sell it, so i need to know which one it is, and how much i can sell it. Here is some pictures. Can somebody help me ? Thanks
Dub-T-123 Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 I don't know if it's just my phone but none of your pictures work for me. I'd love to help but I can't see any of your pictures.
ShredAstaire Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Did you try to link your pics from your Hard Drive? nothing is showing up here....
Andre S Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 I don't know if it's just my phone but none of your pictures work for me. I'd love to help but I can't see any of your pictures. Can't see them either
jimmiJAMM Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Oh, that's the SG Invisible Edition. A limited run and very rare. Pretty sure Wonder Woman played one.
Silenced Fred Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 It's the Unicorn Model. Very rare. It's actually a 1959 SG, people have them, Gibson just didn't design it yet :- It's very rare, so ask a high price for sure :-
Tim Plains Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Why do people post these things in the Lounge when there's an entire section dedicated to Gibson SGs? I don't know, is it just me? Do people not use their heads? Call Gibson customer service and give them the serial number. They will tell you what it is.
Chipsus Posted May 2, 2010 Author Posted May 2, 2010 Oups sorry, how can i put my picturs on hard drive ?
jimmiJAMM Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Do people not use their heads? Some people use 'em to put buckets on 'em. :-
SG fan 420 Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 It's a gloss finished SG Special, pretty sharp[biggrin] Should bring 600-700 USD, as a rough guess.
Chipsus Posted May 2, 2010 Author Posted May 2, 2010 sure about the special ? its not a standard or i dont know what ?
rockman82 Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Yeah it's a special. A standard would have binding on the neck and trapezoid inlays. And covered pups too.
Dub-T-123 Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Its a decent looking special and I would say 400.00 but depending on age and if a case is included; and if people in your area purchase the lower Gibson line. He could easily fetch more than that on eBay. This isn't really a low end guitar. It's no historic reissue but it's a nice guitar. Would you consider your Raw Power low end? The gloss special would be more expensive to produce because of it's full gloss finish.
