I want one.... NOW!

Kind of cool both channels are the same so you can mix and match. Solo feature I like as well.

Maybe I'm another Mesa convert :-

Fred, if you had the cash, you'd want every amp out there lol

Just sayin :-

Great choices..I tend to stick with Vox, never ever had a problem with them. However I've never owned a mesa or an Egnator..not much experience with them but i keep hearing great things about them both.

I agree Murph. Just taking into consideration. He'll be in college

and then have loans to pay off. That's a lot for a college student.

Good point. He'd better get started now....

The 1:12 combo weighs about 60 pounds. So, really, that's only about $30.00 a pound. Which is a helluva lot cheaper than cocaine.....

How much cash ya got Fred?

I think he said in another thread that he was going to work this summer.

Me too...I can't wait to start to save up for my GAS gear

I have two options for work: Work at a local SamAsh (if I get the job) or work for my Dad, being a shipper, since I have already been trained, they wouldn't have to train anyone else, and they pay me a little bit less, but 14 dollars an hour is still good money for me [-(

I'm going to Community College for my first year, getting Gen Eds done, figuring stuff out, then going off to a University. I hope to get either that amp, or an ES series guitar :)

Loans are going to suck...

!?

So much!

Whoa

lol

my job will be 15 US a day... (8-4)

It'll take 60 days to save up for a Standard Strat or a SG Classic...

Not enough time to work for a LP traditional.

$15 a day?!?!?!!?!?!?!!?!?!!?!

That's it?

And I don't know if I should go for a Trad Pro or a 339...

Yup...

It seems a lot less with the conversion rate and all...

I am deciding between 3-4 guitars actually...

Traditional, the 335 and the Standard Strat and the SG Standard...

Obviously an advantage of the Strat and the SG is due to the cost, I can afford it in 60-70 days of work...and the others about twice that which means this year between summer and Christmas compared to next year summer-Christmas time.

The only thing about the Standard SG that I don't like is the Bevels, especially when compared to the Historic model...but what can you do?

The 335 may be out, I don't like the idea of a satin finish, I don't mind it on my acoustic.

I want a Strat, that's why I'm going to mod mine, for about 500 dollars, and a little elbow grease, I will have a kick *** Strat. It's gold-ish in color, so I'm going with a red tortoise pickguard, black knobs, its gonna be sick. really looking at the tremolo that Stiffhand bought and made a thread about.

I like the Trad Pro, but a 339 might be more me. Once I get the money, I gotta decide
