Hi again forum,

I have one last question to ask of you all.

On my new LP the end bar (Stop??) seems to be elevated from the body. Is this normal, or was it just for transportation? You can actually see threads on the bolts! Any advice gratefully recieved.:)

Its probably normal.

The stop bar should be high enough so that the strings are in contact with the individual saddles but not the back of the bridge. If the stop bar is too low the strings will be in contact with the back of the bridge.
