Junior Tones

HI everyone,

 

I own a les paul junior and i'm running it throught a Marshell MG50fx.

 

Does anyone have a good classic rock amp setting they are willing to let me use?

 

this would be very much appriciated.

To get a "real" classic rock tone, you're going to need a tube amp.

 

Always work with what you have though. Try to find a nice medium gain tone with a little boost for leads. When I think of a classic rock tone, I think of a big open chord with all the notes ringing out but still with some crunch. Just try not to get too much distortion to where it blurs the notes together.

By the way I'm a big fan of the LP Junior. Those things are great!

 

That one p90 will give you mind blowing classic rock tone through a really nice amp.
