Advice on SG Jr.

Hey there, I'm very interested in getting an SG Jr. I have a real nice Jazzmaster, but it's really not the tone I'm looking for, so I'm hoping to trade it for a Jr. That being said, I'm wondering how much difference I'd find between a 60's Jr or one of the 90's reissues? Obviously, trading a Jazzmaster for a 60's model price-wise is outta the question. The few 90's models I've seen on ebay are around what my Jazzmaster's worth so I'm just hoping to get some feedback on going for a 90's model. Thanks!

If you can do an even exchange, or something very close, for your Jazzmaster and a 90s SG Junior, do it. Even if you don't like it, you aren't out the thousands of dollars extra for an original, and you'll be able to sell it for around the same price you would have sold your Jazzmaster for.

If you do like it, find a vintage model somewhere (in person) and see if you like it better.
