Places You'll Never Go Back to Willingly

Recommended Posts

Hey, I was just reminded of my least favorite place on the planet (Moncton, New Brunswick) and while I definately have my reasons (who the HELL shuts down a three lane highway for construction during a damn pilgramage to a rock concert, a three line highway I might add that goes in AND out of the area and reduce it to one lane of summer heat hell?!.. ahem) Anyway, do you have a funny vacation or work story where you went somewhere miserable and will never return? Kind of like Homer Simpson and New York?

............um .........how a bout 6 months in the Norfolk VA jail...............I got lucky and got on work release......which only means I got to

pick up trash on the highway during the day and back to jail at night. NO SMOKING........oh we also cut the grass at cemetaries......

yeah I learned how to light a cigarette of the spark from a weed eater......got zapped a little.......then when the deputies were looking I would

lean down behind a tombstone to take a hit of the cigarette.........ha ha ........

OH and ..........Fall River Mass.................F-ck all those caaa saying a-sholes and their bigotry............

Logan Airport.

Unless the chick at the Dunkin Donuts is there. T-shirt, jeans, probably even a chain drive wallet. Looked like a blend of Stacey London, Kim Kardashian and Fran Drescher.

Hmm, strip club called Bottoms Up in Fayetteville, AR. Buddy thought it would be hilarious to take me there. Plywood floors, PVC stripper poles, not a single "dancer" under 50. If hell had a strip club, it would be that place.

Atlantic City, NJ...by all the casinos....the place featured in that Showtime special about hookers. I didn't see the hookers but I hated every second I was there. That and IHOP. I fxcking hate every IHOP I have ever been to.

High school...

If it weren't for my conditional acceptance to college (it's always conditional--they look at your transcript from the final term just as closely as they look at the one from the first term,) my parents pushing me out the door, and the law, I'd never set foot in that damn place ever again.

Ask ANYBODY over 30 if they wish they could be back in high school.

It only gets worse from there on out - 'cept you are finally in control of your own destiny - somewhat...

You know, my own father tells me a very different story--pretty much the opposite of what you just wrote.

Neo, not to be a little fxcker, but...who am I to believe? I mean, really now.
