pohatu771
Unless I'm mistaken, the SG Classic is a Guitar Center-family exclusive. They make it for a few months, ship them to Guitar Center, and don't make any more until they get another order. $1000 for a used one is quite high, for an American store. They sell for that new, the only difference being the hardshell case. Personally, I think the SG line should follow this: SG Junior - single P-90 SG Special - dual P-90 SG Studio - dual humbucker (what is currently called the SG Special) SG Standard SG Standard 1961 Reissue I don't care if the Junior and Special have half or full pickguards... I'd prefer half, but I'll settle.

Also, add more usable stuff to the parts dept! Sell hardwear "dress kits", like the Platinum kit or the Goth kit etc.....and why did the TP-6 triple in price??? I paid an insaine amount on ebay for the hardware and pickguards from a Platinum SG because I wanted the satin hardware and platinum knobs. That's the thing with exclusives, sometimes the price for a used one is what they sold for new, only problem is they were in fact limited to those retailers and are harder to finnd used than regular models sold through all retailers. When they're rare, or hard to find, they can ask for more.
