SG + AC15c1 = Happiness

Just bought a Vox AC15c1 and carried it for about a mile through Hong Kong in a massive tropical thunderstorm.. lightning flashing all around.

 

Had the SG and Jaguar on my back all wrapped in bin bags..

The amp and guitars where miraculously dry, but I was not!! not enough hands for an umbrella!

 

Got to the session and couldn't lift my arms!!! Had to sit down with a beer; tired, aching and wet! But, I was so happy to get the amp I've wanted for 15 years!

 

Then I switched on, plugged in and the tone that came out that amp, as it was with no adjustment of EQ, MAGIC! We mic'd it and recorded it as it was!

 

Love the AC15 SG combination!

SGs and Vox amps are a great combo.

 

I love the tone I get with my SG straight in to my Vox ac30. It's great.

yep, one of my cats likes to chew... unfortunately, I left the studio door open one day and she chewed the headstock!! Looks like woodworm!

There's a great open stage night (Monday) at RockSchool in WanChai where you can take you band for 'open rehearsal' or set it up as a gig.

Nope :/ never have found anyone in my year (or school) that is willing to form a band, but if so, are already in one! Rockschool, hmmm sounds familiar, i should have choose that for my cas week option!

If i do set up a band in the near future i'll keep that in mind, thanks!

Congrats on your new amp Chiseen!! The AC-15C's are one of my favorites(especially with a SG)! I sold mine a while back for an AC-30(and miss it dearly-the AC-15 killed it IMO).
