J185-4Me Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 I cannot recall the Woody Guthrie SJ model's history well enough to say whether the spec was always for "script" logo, or if it had changed to the script logo from the block logo before? What I mean is, here is a 2003 Woody Guthrie model sporting the newer, block logo: ...but I've always thought the WG came with an old style script logo: Does anyone have details on this? Fred
fp Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 I don't have an answer for you but the banner with the block logo just doesn't look quite right to me.

Yeah, and I guess that was what I was wondering about: Is this one an "oops" or was the WG originally spec'd with a block logo? The Woody Guthrie is one of my favourite SJ models, but I've never noticed ones with the block logo before. Fred
Guest rogerb Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Hi J1854Me , According to our Montana acoustic division the 2003 Woody Guthrie SJ should have the script logo.
