What's great is that it uses THD tech which allows the user to swap the power tube at will – use nearly any octal-based tube without the need to re-bias the amp. sweet.

 

I've be dig'n for info, not much around, it seems it comes with a 6V6 and 2-12AX7's. When I compare it to THD's Univalve which is the 1 tube version that can use a 6V6 on the low current setting to produce 5 watts and if you use one of there yellow jackets EL84 it's down to 4 watts. So it seems the Picovalve is on the low watt setting to produce the 5 watts and has a pentode/Triode switch to go down to 3 watts. I like the fact that it has a gain and master vol, if it had an effects loop it would be perfect.

not the tone king trying it out looks like a pretty cool little amp, the 3 switches on the lower right look a little cheesy though, hard to tell about the actual sound quality too from that video, but the price is right !!
