tepidy
Anybody remember back in the 70's when the trend was to swap out your LP bridge pickup for a Dimarzio Super Distortion pickup. Have to admit they had a great sound and tone to them.
deepblue
I believe Ace Frehley started that trend. Thats what he used back in the day. I recall Larry Dimarzio talking about this very subject a while ago.

guitarworld
That particular model sells for £1799 in the UK. I'm looking into it very seriously, it does have a great spec for the money. They are handmade in France by a luthier called Michel Lag.

pippy
I fitted a pair of DiMarzio 'Dual Sound's in my very first guitar - a copy (well, kinda...) of a LP gold-top - in 1976. They cost more than the guitar... The D-S's were the same as the S-D's with a mini-toggle coil-tap. I still have it (and them). Yes; I do know the neck p-up ring is broken, thanks. As it's an original M69(*) I'll keep it. * OK. That was a lie. truetone6; What do the two screws just north of the bridge do? :-
