Riverside Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 I've had an SCxD since the first day they were available. I like it a lot.
Andre S Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 Great amp. I searched and got a list of tone settings online then went through each one and picked one and refined it for my own taste from there.
Jeff-7 Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 I use the Vibro champ xd for a little practice amp, pretty similar in that it has the 16 voice options but yours gets a nice bit of upgrades for just a little more dough. Wish I'd picked the super up instead, oh well saving for a triple rec now
feldkeen4 Posted May 25, 2010 Author Posted May 25, 2010 I would have bought the vibro champ XD. If it were not for the 20% Sam Ash coupon, good for $250 or more. The vibro was $199, so for $40 more I got the Super. They say it's loud enough for small gigs? But, that would be in the distant future. It could possibly be miked to the PA system, and hopefully retain some of the tone. Plus, my harmonica sounds unbelievable through it.
Jeff-7 Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 Yeah it should be able to handle it. I'd like to learn the harmonica, my grandfather was pretty great at it.
