This is a really cool finish I have never seen/heard of.

It's a bit like 'Marmite' (a brown, salty, yeasty, sticky glue that some Brits spread over hot-buttered-toast...) in that it tends to polarize opinion.

People tend to either love it or hate it. Very few will be neutral.

LOL!

Marmite is something I could describe as being 'Completely banned from the table' when my wife is home!

I actually like it (not enough to shell out the readies' date=' you understand) but I think if the green was [i']translucent[/i] - i.e. any flame was visible to the body edge (as on a CSB '59 RI) - and perhaps a bit darker it would start to look very sweet indeed.

I think I am correct when I say someone here posted a snap of a LP which was sort of 'Bottle-green-to-Amber-yellow-Sunburst' and I thought it was stunning. I've done a quick search but couldn't find it anywhere.

Perhaps I dreamt it...

Thanks for that, BigKahune - that's the very chap!

Really nice look on that one.

Actually I have seen a 12-string LP, and I've also seen a pink LP with gold hardware, so there may be one out there, you never know.......
