Archer993
I believe nail polish = acetone. Acetone eats synthetics I believe. I may have to get the covered version or go the Dimarzio route.
oglukem08
i was just going to put the cover from my old pups on my new pups. I think it should fit... if not, well guitar satan (center) sent me the cream and black covers instead of just the straight black :[
T50
Last year, I had installed a SH-4 JB on my SG in the bridge position, but the string space and the pickup poll space didn't match up. You need to go with TB-4 JB instead of SH-4... just my 2 yens
elessar820
There is an acetone free nail polish remover, that may work and shouldn't eat away the plastic.
esch
Definitely don't use regular nail polish remover!
Bobby_Lee
Before ya make your mind up check out Will Boggs' pickups. I think you'll like 'em!!! http://www.wbpickups.com/ I have a set of his Firewaters in my '95 Studio. I can't begin to explain the difference. :D
hi13ts
I always liked the '57 Classic Plus for the bridge. It's hot enough, but it still retains that creaminess that is typically found on Les Pauls. But if you really need something scorching, a Seymour JB or the 500T or any of the Gibson ceramics will work.
