tbph
Hi All, I just became the proud NEW owner of a 1986 Gibson LP, Serial # 81336520, Beautiful Gun Metal Gray. I bought it for $550 off of cr----list, it is beautiful & I am thrilled with it. It has been very well kept, and although I know it has been played by a real player, it shows very little wear. What I do not know is what model LP it is, or if it is rare or run of the mill color. What is interesting is the coil splitter switch is low near the volume & tone knobs. If anyone has any useful info about such a guitar I would certainly appreciate it. Regards, Tom[biggrin]

Tim Plains
Email Gibson with the serial number and ask them for any details they have. '86 is not vintage (lol) but congrats.
