Thanks very much... I had a fellow in Cleveland that was REALLY interested in buying it. I would have even delivered it to him to save him shipping costs...at the last second he backed out. His loss.

Absolutely right. [thumbup]

That's a hell of a nice bass, what's it sound like?

I did have a LPB but it sounded too mid driven for me/my sound. Got my eye on one of these but hoping the tone to be better :-/

BSB

It is a very nice bass, I'll be keeping this one forever. With both p/us on it has a bit of a "scooped" tone, neck p/u only has great low-end but not boomy, bridge p/u only has a lot of bite. All 3 positions are very usable, and the TONE control works well.

This Fender Pawn Shop Mustang followed me home the other day. Sooooo, I restrung it with D'Addario ETB92S Nylon Tapewound Strings. My "Electric Lady". A nice two piece Alder body.

Thank you Kelvin. I actually like it better than the SG. I like the string through the body, the top strap button is in a location that cuts down on neck dive, and it pulls the E string side of the body, a little closer into my body. I think the one thing the SG Std. has over the Mustang, the body weight.

Nice bass gsg! First time i've seen a humbucker on a Mustang. How does she sound?

Sorry I didn't answer you. I love the the Humbucking on it. The Humbucking is very clear, yet has a bottom to it that is great. The nut is 1.5", Jazz size. And I like the string through the body also.
