Thanks, guys! Played it through an "Orange" Reverb 50, in the store.

Awesome amp, too! So, I wondered, at the time, how much that was a factor,

in the tone. But, when I got it home, plugged it into my HR Deluxe, it

was equally Awesome...just in a "Fender" way, as opposed to the British

"Orange" amp way. This is going to be FUN!! ;>) (Sorry, about all the

"Awesome's"....LOL)

Congrats! So where did you get the GT? Glad you have a three piece instead of a five piece. :)

I got mine at E.M. Shorts (AKA Wichita Band & Instrument Co.) Wichita, Kansas.

"Jamdogg's" was on it's way to him, so I didn't see it, but there was 1 more,

that came in, that I looked at, as well. It was nearly identical, to mine,

but the back was a bit darker. I went "back & forth," trying to make up my

mind, and finally decided on the lighter backed version. Still not sure that

was "better," or not...but, I'm good with my decision. The other one, had a

bit more "relic'd" look, around the horn (bottom) edge, and where one's arm

would rest. I just preferred the less obvious one, in that regard. But it

wasn't "bad," just different, and somewhat more obvious/pronounced. They told

me they wished that had ordered 40 more, just like 'em. LOL Every one they

got in, regardless of color, is already sold. They've even asked Gibson, to

sell them any "cancellations," or returns (as long as they're fine, and not

"defective," in any way). For the awesome price of $715.00, it's a "steal!"

Next, to find a (maybe "tweed") case, for it. ;>)

wow CB what a long and winding road... almost 5mo later and what a trip...lol... it's finally in your hand!!

very nice indeed! congrats and the best of luck with it!

Yeah, thanks...it was a long wait, but..."worth it," IMHO.

It will tide me over, nicely, until I "win the Lotto," and

can get a '52,'54,'55,'56, and '57 "Gold Top's" (I WISH!!) LOL

IF GUITARCENTER PUSHES BACK ON HONEYS ALSO TO 30/10, ILL CANCEL THE ORDER AND NEVER BUYING AGAIN FROM GC OR MF.

THEY SIMPLY DOESNT SHOW MUCH RESPECT FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS.

So you think it's MF's & GC's fault they didn't get the guitars from Gibson? Or that they are delaying shipping on purpose and holding onto the guitars for some other reason?
