Californiaman
I'll be staying at the Huntington Beach, CA Hilton Waterfront Resort in the not too distant future. So I looked it up on Google to see how far away from the pier I'd be. When Google Earth took the photograph from outer space, they got more than the sand, surf and resort. LPguitarman
That's what you call being at the right place at the right time. Cool shot, one in a million. Weird how the lines of the road show through the plane...

Riverside
Yeah, that's a cool image. Google Earth caught this one, too: Atlantis?
Kimbabig
I thought the story was that an earthquake made Atlantis fall off of Greece. What's it doing out there? Im probably wrong though, That is just one telling of the story, and I myself do not even beleive atlantis ever existed. It's a great shot though. Californiaman
What's even more surprising than this is that this evening I went to google again to show my kids where we're staying and the airplane is gone. It must have flown away. Duh.
craigh
Google Earth has a time line. If you go back 2 years or so you will see the plane. Craig

TommyK
So; the plane isn't parked in the parking lot? I can dig it. Easy access from the plane to the parking lot AND the beach. Where do I guy tickets? There used to be a plane hovering over the Mississippi River at St. Louis' date=' but they've updated the aerial shots. I suspect it fell in.
