Brown County Plunker
Hello out there in Gibson land I'm kinda reposting my intro here. I've got the parts for a 50's era J45. Body and neck are in solid condition. It needs new keys, a new bridge, and the fret board either reworked or replaced. What is its worth as is, what would it be worth once its reconditioned. (no refinishing done, finish is aged and worn in places) What ya'll say?
62burst
Hi. Posting a few photos would be helpful. Watch for listings of similar condition J-45's on ebay, etc. Sounds like the guitar may not be currently playable (?). One could easily invest close to it's current value to make it whole again. You should ask in your area for recommendations on vintage restorations or luthiery.
