UnionAve
Does anyone know where I can get a set of stock tuners for a 2007 Melody Maker? I just bought my second one last week but the previous owner changed the originals for some after market parts that don't really fit. I wouldn't have even bought it if it wasn't such a great deal. I've written to Gibson but they seem to be reluctant to give me any help.
yoda
These are close to stock, just not plastic tipped.
UnionAve
Thanks for the link. I'm not sure why Gibson won't sell them as a replacement part, though.
bigdigger
I got a set of the stock white tuners, came off my 2007 double pup MM. Make me an offer,I don't really plan on puttin' back on,they're just sittin' in a drawer. I would be more than happy to sell. I love my MM,also fitted a Leo Quan Badass bridge,it's definately a keeper.

strat-o-steve
Check ebay. A lot of people change the tuners on their Melody Makers. Stock Gibson tuners from a LP or SG would work too, being basically the same thing with different plastic buttons.
icantbuyafender
These are close to stock, just not plastic tipped. You would need conversion bushings to fill in the hole to seat the tuner correctly. The reissue melody makers use a 3/8ths hole (10mm) rather than the original vintage 6mm holes. Does anyone know if the vintage styled 3-on-a-plate in line tuners would be compatible with the hole spacing on the new MM's? Ive been itching to find out. I want to put the oldschool 3-per-plate- 3-per-side tuners on my MM. anybody know?
