Ever hate a type of guitar you now love?

Strats. I couldn't stand them until I picked one up while waiting to pick up one of my Explorers at a shop. Bought it on the spot. I think it really matters what type of amp you use with Strat as well.

Nah...never "hated" any guitars. Some aren't "my style' date='" but I don't "Hate" them.

Too much "Hate" in the world, as it is...

Yeah, I agree; too much hate in the world. I say, "DEATH to those that hate!"

I dont understand the "I once hated strats" mentality and never will. I have honestly never hated a guitar before trying it.

I have come across too many ******bags who hate for the wrong reason i.e. "I hate (fill in the blank) because this band uses them."

My first electric was a Peavey and though I am not knocking Peavey guitars generally mine had issues and since I was just starting I naturally just thought it was me. Was about to give up on electric until I bit the bullet and bought my first Carvin. Damn, when a guitar neck actually plays true it makes a world of difference. :- [sad]
