Dom_JEM
little bit to red for my taste but if you like it....go for it!
Guest rogerb
That is a 2002 SG special faded. The manufacturers suggested retail price back on '02 was $888.00, it would have sold for somewhat less than MSRP. You might check out going prices on eBay or at www.bluebookinc.com
BigKahune
Nice guitar. With a HSC included, I think the price is pretty good. Without the case, the price is a bit high.
edawg
What you think would be a good offer without the case? Say $500-$550??
LT ED
I like the way that every effort has been made to match the tuners. One or the other :(
pohatu771
It's convenient that you link to the site it's listed at as part of your signature and then disguise the link to the actual guitar so no one notices. All of the guitars listed on the site are marked too high. You can get a brand new Faded Brown Les Paul Studio for the same price it's listed at on the site. A new Les Paul Studio Faded with a HSC for $600?!? Most places are pricing them at $700-$800 with a gig bag. Please tell us where you're finding your deals. I'm referring to this guitar, which is currently marked at $799 with no mention of a hardshell case. http://www.newguitarsforsale.com/usedguitarsforsale/electric-guitars-0/gibson-39/gibson-les-paul-studio-for-sale-9.htm There are even links on that very site that show you where to buy that guitar for the same price. That's worth something. But i probably would have gone for a new one

Swinzey
I think we're being scammed buy an advertiser. Anyhoo those inlays dont mean nuthin compared to the damage/repairs (not to mention not even replacing the tuner with the same as the rest on it) I would pay maybe 300 for it. I still think somethins fishy.

I still think somethins fishy. That was my thought too, and I still think I'm right. From what I understand, the crescent moon inlays were only on the guitars with ebony fretboards. That may be worth something to someone. Replacing the one tuner isn't a big deal. My concern would be what appears to be rust on the pickguard screws and pickup pole pieces. Swinzey
yeah u might be right about the fretboard. I thought I was seeing rust too didnt wanna say anything but i'm glad u see it too.
Dub-T-123
I'm not big on the faded red finish personally. I think it looks way better in brown. I could get one of those on craigslist for $400 with a gigbag easy. With the hardcase, that's not such a bad deal. I have one of those Gator SG cases. It's a good case and it doesn't say steal me on it. It's up to you. You could find one for cheaper locally or you could just go for that.
