ksdaddy
That serial number could be 1962,63 or 64.

Any ideas? Thanks! Pictures would help but with what you state, could be 1946 or 1947 Are you sure it's L-48? slimt
In 47 Some L48s had trapezoid inlays and a script logo. I have one. In 48 they went to dot inlay and a print logo Some where in time frame going into the 50s the f holes were a tad larger. Yours are like the L50 style
Robdaddy
I have a Gibson L48 I think that I picks up at a second hand shop and the only identifying marks I can find anywhere is just under the f hole in black ink. The first letter is blurred so i can’t make it out but after that it says 467H. Anybody able to date it off that?
