RichCI
Most of my jobs as a teen pretty much sucked: I picked tomatoes at a local farm for $.35 per basket. Worked in a bakery panning dough and cleaning. Worked in ware house packing bulk parts for typewriters (very sharp springs). Worked in another warehouse packing up products back into shipping boxes after they fell over. Worked retail at Merry-Go-Round to meet girls; what a miserable place that store was. Did a LOT of landscaping (shoveling and raking rocks, unloading railroad ties, cutting lawns, etc).
LPguitarman
I worked at Arby's Roast Beef restaurant for 2 1/2 years during my High School years. It earned me enough to buy my first car, some musical equipment and date my girlfriend. Living at home with my parents made for easy saving. Kimbabig
Yup' date=' I bean walked too. But that was for my dad. For that, we worked cheap; a Creme Soda after 3 rounds through the field and tomato, bacon and toast sandwiches for breakfast. [tongue'] You must have grown up in the mid-west. Me, Illinois. Illinois for me too. Seems to be a lot of Illinoians on this forum.
WahKeen
Didn't have a job during High School.. In college I worked at good old McDonald's and then at a grocery store first as a carry-out and then as a checker. I'm still burning off those 1/2 price Mcnuggets..... badbluesplayer
Dem00n - Don't get in the habit of doing dishonest or illegal stuff for a living, unless you want to be a bookie or dope dealer when you grow up. You're not doing anybody any favors. Plus, your writing is horrible. Pitiful. Laughable. I can see it now - You can help your cellmates write their appeals: "imn't gultey cause i in't do nuthin. Yous guys need me tell u cause u ain't rite."
Bowdiddley
I worked in my mothers "Ladies Apparel" store. This was when I was 16-18. My mom would have died if she had known how many customers of hers' I was having rendezvous with. Those 30-35 y/o ladies like young guys!
