NeoConMan
Street price around $2300, not too bad. I still prefer the slim neck, but this looks cool - they left some wood in the body. Gibson figured out another way to get LP fans to pay a little more money...
FennRx
Gibson figured out another way to get LP fans to pay a little more money... yep...same reason they wont ever make a Historic that is completely accurate
Ian Martin
I'll have to try one to formulate my opinion, but I am very interested. My question is this: will the Traditional carry the stigma of perhaps not quite being 'the real deal' the way Standards are? I know that Studios, Classics, and Classic Customs (while fine instruments) aren't considered the 'Standard' by some people.
DoubleSixx
This is probably proof that the Gibson R & D department read our posts. I'm sure they've seen the complaints that most people don't want to get a custom so they can have a normal weighing Les Paul. Well as normal as you can get with swiss cheese. Hopefully in time there'll be non weight relieved Les Pauls again. Thanx for reading our posts Gibson. You almost got it right, but at least you're getting closer. RichCI
A visit to Fender's site shows that there are currently 54 different versions of the Stratocaster, one to fit every taste and every wallet. Seems Gibson has been upping the ante to try to do the same thing.
Les Paul Fanatic
Gibson is definetly break all of us in the end. I'd like to get my hands on one they released a few years back when they had Emg's on it but it wasn't a Zakk Wylde signature.
