Freuds_cat
I was surprised to find this post showing the EB-0 made out of plywood. Are all EBs made the same? http://www.guitargear.net.au/discussion/index.php?topic=13572 Definitely a no there. First one I've seen in fact. That one was purchased in Adelaide about 6 months ago (South Australia - for the benefit of non Aussies) At Allans Music in the city . Which is an Authorised Epiphone reseller. I have been asked if it is a Chinese fake of an Epi EB-0. That possibility doesn't really make any sense to me. If you are gonna fake something' date=' you would surely make it of something expensive not a Aus$300 instrument. Also I would be very surprised if a large company like Allans would be prepared to gamble their contract by selling ripoffs. Even though I am quite sure its a genuine Epi, I would still love to hear from Epiphone to confirm it. My only question to them is why does it state on their website that the EB-0 is Mahogany http://www.epiphone.com/default.asp?ProductID=107&CollectionID=12 And that the EB-0 Bass player pack claims it to be Basswood http://www.epiphone.com/default.asp?ProductID=60&CollectionID=7 Mahogany ply?
