Vic Flick
My two most recent Epiphone have been Korean models. I'm curious what models are being made at QingDao??? Do they produce the full line, or just specific models??? Since I'm only allotted 9 choices, I left one for other various models. If you check other, please let us know which model in a post. Thanks. garyelcrrt1281733995
It won't let me vote twice, Jerrymac. I voted for Dot because my Dot Studio was my first EE and I've now also got my Alpine White Limited Edition SG. BTW, did you get one of these when M123 screwed up the price? I called them a over week later, that's when I found out.

JEPI
My '05 Dot VS is a beauty. Looks, plays and sounds great. (Except it has "The dreaded BLACK NUT) LOL..........J
flyingfrets
I just added my 10th Epi to the collection ('07 Honeyburst Standard + Top) which is EE. The other 9 are all not only Korean, they're also all Saein guitars. They're all pretty outstanding instruments, especially at the prices I paid. I was pretty discouraged by the Chinese Epis I played until I found the newest LP which, as I said was an EE. The others I'd played up to that point were all DaeWon and they were universally garbage. In fairness, I think it was Coop on the old forum who mentioned that he had a few DWs and thought they were pretty nice, so I guess Chinese QC just hasn't hit it's stride yet. garyelcrrt1281733995
Since I don't have an EE' date=' I voted SG for you.[/quote'] Thanks, Jmac! That sucks about M123, but they've never been particularly nice people. Good prices, and easier to deal with than MF, but... Oh, that's why you bought the Ultra II, huh? To console yourself. I understand.
kspeed
G400 here. Amazing workmanship for a <$400 guitar. Beats the pants off most Mexican Fenders or Korean Ibanez's.
Whitmore Willy
Have a EE05 paul standard plus top. Got it a month ago. Love it. I know they also make Studios. Had one for about 1 day. Would have been a nice guitar if the neck weren't cracked. Last guitfiddle I will ever buy online.

Muskank Sally
I only recently started to tout Quingdao the leader, (but Smoke had a Big Influence) Before that It Was Saien. Here is the beautiful 2007 EE LP Plus:
slayer2525
My LP Standard is an EE06 Honeyburst + Top . I love this guitar. The more I play it the better it feels. I have checked out other LP Standards at GC and Sam Ash but they do not feel as good as mine does. I thank my lucky stars that I got one that is the cream of the crop! BENT E
I just received an EE Casino on Friday, and must admit I was peased as punch! I was apprehensive about ordering one after playing a Chinese a year or two ago. Then they IMO were pretty shoddy, but after reading the glowing reviews lately, I figured what the hell, it can alway's go back. The build quality is excellent, a few small cosmetic things, but nothing to lose sleep over. The look is identical to the Lennon Rev'. It has the Beatle's tone in gobs, I'm really diggin' it. I don't understand the beef with MF though, I've dealt with them for year's, and never had a problem. Lucky, I quess.

RotcanX
I've been drooling over the EE G-400s for some months now, we've had a couple of really nice ones go through the store... but the last two Epis I've purchased have both been Unsungs: a G-400 Maestro and a Les Paul Special, both 'Custom Shop' LE guitars. I was kind of disappointed that the G-400 wasn't an EE but I do prefer the Unsung in one respect: no fake African mahogany veneer on it. Bill V
I got a white EE G400 about three weeks ago. It was gorgeous. The only complaint I have was that the slots in the nut for the 4th and 5th strings were improperly cut. The 4th string slot was cut at a slight angle. The one for the 5th string was too narrow. Both strings were hanging up in the slots making tuning a bit of a PIA. I discovered this when I restrung it using Ernie Ball 10 - 46, a few hours after taking delivery. Using a small piece of 1000 wet and dry I gradually removed just enough material to fix the problem with each string. I had no issues at all with my Korean made ES-135.
