matiac Posted February 20, 2008 Author Share Posted February 20, 2008 Well SG, I gotta tell ya, the Epiphones better in some respects to the Gibson, maybe it's just because I aint used to the Goldtop yet, but for certain things, it's just better, could be the pickups, I don't know, but I do know I'm swappin' out the stock strings on the Gibson, I don't know if their old or what, but they gotta go, like I said, I'd never part with my trusty Epiphone...it's a hell of a guitar. matiac Posted February 20, 2008 Author Share Posted February 20, 2008 Nope, no P90's, got that 496/500 combo, it's the Classic, was going for a H.C. Sunburst, and saw the Goldtop, and the rest is history, now I got 2 bangin' guitars I'll never part with, gotta change out those stock strings on the Gibson though. Here she is...
