Epi ES 135

Bought mine almost a year ago for around $450 US. Out of the box it was set up almost perfectly. I swapped out the strings straight away with some Ernie Ball Regular Slinkies. It has great tone both plugged and unplugged. It also has excellent sustain. I did have to tighten the nuts on each of the tuners. Apart from that, no issues.

Hi Guys' date=' ive been away a long while and thought i'd better check in over here at the new place. Im hoping your all well?

Ive seen some great deals on the Blueburst Epi ES 135 lately and wondered if anyone here has dipped their toe in so to speak.......???[/quote']

How have you been??? My daughter wanted me to buy a blue burst, I found a 135 on the 'Bay cheap (bad finish on the heel). It's actually a nice playing guitar, a little on the heavy side.

Hey Jerry - hope you and yours are well - i'm doing great thanks - just been away from the Epi forum for quite a while!!

Looks like a real beauty!! I have seen an unreal deal on one of these but havent found one locally to try first. How does the 135 differ soundwise to the other Epi stable of semis?? Im guessing its a little hollower sounding than the 335 but not so as say a casino? Also is it the fat neck of the 335/dot or a slimmer profile?
