Tukinator
If it has the diamond shaped inlay in the headstock it's a Custom. If the truss cover doesn't say Special on it, then it's quite likely a Standard.
JusPal
no diamond inlay. says les paul where that would be and of course it says epiphone at the top but the truss cover says gibson and the color is honey burst if that matters
Tukinator
Sounds like it'd be a Standard then. It gets a little more tricky the further back you go, (i.e. 80's). Another thing would be to hit eBay and do a search on Epiphone Les Paul and find one that looks just like yours.

Suicidehummer
Could be a Studio though. Does it have a binding on the body? (A white line across the edge)

Tukinator
I knew I was forgetting something. I'm a n00b. What can I say?
Suicidehummer
So I'd say 90% chance it's a Standard. Can we see some pics? That would really help.
charlie brown
Body (top binding), set neck w/binding and Trapazoid position markers=Standard. Is it a "Plain top," or "Figured top?" Just curious...and yes, Pictures would help! lol CB
RotcanX
Standard or a Classic, depending on the pickups. Open coil = Classic; chrome covers = Standard.
