Fadedepi
My G-400 has that orange knob on the pup switch. Can it be replaced with Gibson replacement parts? (same size?) I hate that ugly sucker!!
RotcanX
No. The threads are completely different.
jcwillow777
A Gibson won't fit, but maybe an All Parts or some other replacement. Take the knob in it to your music store and see if there is one that looks like it has the same size threads. That or you might have to get a new switch. Fadedepi
Ordered black and cream colors from All Parts. Thanks Much!!
Vic Flick
FYI, my new Ultra II has standard Gibson thread, not metric. That certainly confuses the matter a bit. As a test, take the cap off and put a toothpick in the hole. The toothpick will just about fit the metric hole (about 3mm), but you can almost fit 2 toothpicks in the Gibson-sized hole (about 4mm).
