Epiphone Cab's

Does anyone know if I can hook up another Epiphone cab to my EVJ head. The Epi cab I have is already plugged into the 16 ohm output, can I safely plug in another 1x12 Epiphone cabinet to the 8 ohm output.

make a Y adapter that connects both Epip cab's in parallel and use the 8ohm connector. (use a mono-y adapter from Rat shack too, although others haven't had great results from Rat shack, remember to use mono 1/4 jack)

The Radio Shack part number for the Y adapter I used is 274-892. I connected it to the 8 ohm output and then ran each leg to a separate Valve Jr. cabinet. It works fine.

It's very quick and simple to add an extra parallel socket to the back of the cab too.

use lamp cord or speaker cable or a 'real' guitar speaker cable... don't use a guitar instrument cable

Thanks for all the advice, Here's the problem, a y cable would work but I'm going to add another speaker jack to the cabinet. I have the bitmo 10 unator power soak. it's a 16 ohm. If I get another cabinet I should use the 8 ohm output on the head for a two cabinet configuration, will I hurt anything by putting a 8 ohm load on the power soak. Would this be ok or burn out the soak or damage the head. I have read all the articles on ohms but can't find anything when a power soak is between the head and cabinets. I've been playing for 30 years and had so many amps, I can't believe I'm so stumped on this. I love my modded EVJ and don't want anything bad to happen to it. Thanks.
