Got it!! She's beautiful, 1 minor concern, there's no serial on the headstock, it looks like a sticker was removed but that's about it. There's a sticker inside the body, serial #r05060652. Glorious color, will post some pics when I can.

The headstock sticker that was removed likely only said "Made in Korea." The inside sticker is often the only indicator of serial number for guitars made at the Peerless factory, as yours was. The Peerless Epi's I've seen have been stellar (I own a few) --- they also make Gretsches (hollow body Electromatics).

That's one gorgeous looking guitar, mon...

I'm jealous... I've been gassing for a semi-hollow far too much lately... But I need to buy a new amp first.. Plus its the gf's birthday next week, so yeah... I'll be strapped for a bit...

Now that I've finished ranting... =D>

Happy playing, m8

Beautiful Casino! =D> You're lucky to have scored one with such a stunning burst... I've seen a lot of really drab looking VS Casinos out there... That's part of the reason I ended up with a natural.. I still want a VS, thought.. But that's one's gonna be an Elitist...

The Casino can seem a little delicate due to it's light weight... When I play my Tele, or Dot, then pick up my Casino, it almost feels like toy... Like when a batter swings on deck with a donut on his bat before stepping up to the plate..

Thanks, I really feel I got very lucky with the color and the dealer on Ebay. And yea, when I pick up almost any other guitar and play it, and then pick up the Casino, it does almost feel like a toy, but toys don't play like this one does...

I was going to get the Dunlop guitar care package (6 bottles of stuff)' date=' can anyone confirm this stuff is good or should I go with the Gibson cleaner and cloth, (or can I use Pledge?#-o )[/quote']

I bought one of those kits recently.. I'm real happy with the products.. I especially like the fretboard conditioner...

I wouldn't use furniture polish on a guitar... It won't really hurt it, but it'll build up after a while.. The Dunlop kit comes with carnuba wax, which really gives the finish a nice luster...

I bought a Dunlop pack with 3 bottles - polish, fretboard conditioner & string cleaner. $20. Works great.

Congratulations on the Casino, it's a beauty.

I have a Peerless Casino and it is one great guitar. Very comparable in quality to my Gibson ES-330.

I have always used Johnson's Paste Wax on my guitars (the pure carnuba kind - without any cleaners). One tin lasts many years - a little wax goes a long way. In fact, my tin is so old that I don't even know if it comes in a tin or not anymore (probably in plastic - isn't almost everything?).

Enjoy the Casino (I know you will)
