fromnabulax
Here's Ernest Tubb and his boys. I count three Epis here. The fellow behind Ernie's left shoulder may be playing a Broadway as you can just make out a bit of his frequensator tailpiece there,

charlie brown
"Captain" Kirk Douglas of "Roots" (who is now on Jimmy Fallon's show). Jeffery, is this the Epiphone that "Prince" asked to borrow, from Kirk, then proceeded to tosh it in the air, and bust it up, when he was finished playing it? Seems I heard about, or read that, somewhere? CB

Seems I heard about, or read that, somewhere? CB You're right! Prince trashed his Epiphone! What a schmuck! Epiphone offered its condolences, and Douglas bought a red reissue of the guitar. That would not have been enough for me!
Bob Isaac
Roy Orbison used several, the most famous was the 12 string FT-112 Bard. Epi did a signature issue of it in 2009. Bob

DCUGooner
I saw Warren Haynes last night and he pulled out what I'm fairly certain was an Elitist Riviera 12-string. It's not listed on his web page's gear guide but its appearance matches what I see on the Epiphonewiki.com page.

Campbell
Glad to hear this from so many, with regards to the Tommy Thayer model. My GAS bubble is about to burst on this model...maybe this afternoon!?! ...and burst it did! Just ordered the Tommy Thayer White Lightning a little after making this initial post. I'm not a huge fan of white Les Pauls in general, but for some reason, this one really struck a chord with me (no pun intended) from the moment I fist saw her. Since she first came out, I've yet to find a single bad review from owners of this model, much like the case with the 60's Tribute Plus line. ...and for the record, Tommy Thayer has been with KISS longer than any other lead guitarist, even Ace. I know a lot of "fan boys" hate on him, but Tommy's a pretty cool guy. I actually know Ace, and he really is a bit of a **** in person.

jametey
I realize Rancid are listed on the endorsement page, but he's one who wasn't just a magazine endorsement. Pretty much all of their videos and live shows from that era that's what he was playing.

sledge57
I think it is a reissue Sheraton too. I have seen, in other shots of him playing that guitar that it has Seymour Duncan mini hums in it... Pretty sure it was the Re-Issue Sheraton, I remember I ordered one in that color, can't remember why I cancelled it now. I love the color on that guitar

Mr.OneTwo
Jamey Johnson played a EJ-200ce at the Willie Nelson Gershwin Prize Concert in Washington DC a couple months ago. With all those signatures I'm sure he'll be keeping it around for quite a while. http://stillisstillmoving.com/willienelson/jamey-johnson-at-willie-nelson-gershwin-prize-concert-washington-dc-111815/
Hawkesman
if you had guitars HANDED to you......would you take the epi over the gibson? honestly? I've owned a couple of Gibson V's in the past, and never got on with them. Too heavy, and the balance was all off for me. Then I found an Epi V (made in the Saein Plant in 2003, according to Guitar Dater), and I flogged the Gibson and never looked back. The Epi is way lighter, the neck is great (just needed a little light fret dressing), and even the stock pups sound good. But the other good thing was that as it cost me the square root of naff-all, I didn't mind drilling some new holes to re-position the strap buttons to make the balance near-perfect. So, no Gibson V for me, thank you very much! Cheers, H.
