Finally going to re-do my MIK Casino. What to do exactly?

I have a MIK Casino that I love. It plays great and I've gotten it set-up to rival my '67 335 in playability - no kidding. Now that I know that it's a keeper, I'm comfortable putting some dough into it. It plays great but the little details don't come close to the 335. The input, the pots, the nut, the stock P90s, the machines, the switch and HOPEFULLY a bigsby are on the list. My question are:

1. Is there a place I could find all these parts under one roof?

2. What specifically should I be looking at (like pots - long/ short, size of nut etc)

3. Are there preferred replacement P90s and are there any problems people have encountered replacing these.

and finally

4. Are there any pitfalls top avoid in this process?

Thanks very much guys. I've very psyched to get started.

Yes. Why would you want to? Better to get the best from different sources. However for the basic parts you could go with Allparts' date=' StewMac or even GFS; however for the pickups I'd shop around.

2. What specifically should I be looking at (like pots - long/ short' date=' size of nut etc)[/quote']

Standard CTS pots with short shafts; 500K linear for the volumes and 500K audio for the tones. You'll have to file out the existing holes a smidge.

Well' date=' I'm in the midst of replacing the P-90s in my LP Special with Seymour Duncans, a Vintage 'dash 1' model and a hot 'dash 2' model. Unfortunately the vintage model is made to exact 1948 specs and as such is taller than the Epiphone P-90 it is replacing which means I'm going to have to do some routing to get it to fit. Keep this in mind if you decide you want vintage P-90s from SD.

4. Are there any pitfalls top avoid in this process?

Probably.
