biscuit resonator dimensions?

Does anyone know what the specs are for an Epiphone Biscuit Resonator? On the website it indicates that the nut width is 1.62 inches which seems ridiculously narrow to me. I can't imagine why they would make a guitar neck that narrow. Especially an instrument that is largely played fingerstyle. If anyone has one handy that they could measure, I'd greatly appreciate knowing what the real measurement is. I was thinking about buying one, but not if the nut is that narrow. I'd love to know what the body depth is also. I haven't been able to track one down locally to play, so knowing a little more about the measurements would be very helpful to me while I make a decision about buying one.

Just tried one in the store. Didn't measure it, but the neck seems comperable to my Casino neck, which is either 1.62" or 1.68". The body is smaller than my EJ-160E (about the size of a classic guitar) and about 1" shallower. You don't need a large body, because the cone puts out plenty of volume, and the tone is determined by the cone, so you don't need a solid spruce top. (The cone does have to be broken in, much like a solid spruce or cedar top). The neck, though narrow, is playable, even for fingerpicking "Freight Train". Consider too, that Epiphone claims their specifications are subject to change without notice, so any guitar you try or buy may not have these dimensions.

I've tried one at a store. Was pretty impressed/surprised by the sound and playability. I was also surprised when I saw on the specs that it has the narrower neck. It didn't feel like it at the time.

I have had a steel dobro since '73 which I use constantly, so I have some idea of what I'm looking for in a rsonator. BTW--I also thought this sounded superior to the Epi metal-body, too. And the price...!
