ant7629
Hi Does anyone know if the Casinos/Sheratons etc come with a hard case as standard? I have just ordered two MIC Casinos from my local dealer who "thinks" they come with one. Also, have Epiphone changed the cases recently?? I had a Sheraton a few years ago, but when I saw the case of my friend's MIC Casino, the new ones look quite different. Much better in fact with a more solid feel and a kind of moulded shape on the top. Thanks!!
Tukinator
If they come with cases, I want to know who you're doin biz with so I can start doin biz with them too. I've never gotten a case, (without having to buy it separately) with a new guitar.
Ron G
I have the Epiphone case ($70) for my Dot which is flat, not arched. It's made by TKL and seems strong enough for light/medium use but the arched case is stronger and more expensive.

ant7629
Nevada Music ship them with a hard case as standard. My friend got his from there and it is the arched type, but paid more for what I am paying because I got a special deal for buying two. I guess I will have to just wait and see. I will keep the forum updated with results, they are due to arrive in a couple of weeks. thanks
pohatu771
They did change the case sometime last fall, I believe. I ordered one in December, from Music123, and it was a flat-top, 3-latch case with "Epiphone" written out. Others have a done-top, five-latch case. Some have the "E" logo, others have the name written.
jcwillow777
I have the 5 latch arch top case with Epiphone on the front for my Sherraton. I had to pay for it, but it was worth it. It's a very nice case. I need to get another one for my Dot, it is case-less.
alfsboy
interesting .I bought my Dot SE (maple veneer top and blocks ) from Sound Control .I asked about a case and to my surprise they went on a rummage promising they would throw on one in for good measure if they had something suitable .They gave me a Sheraton case ,very nice with a Large gold E on it and five latches ,new but very dusty .Odd as they had a dusty Sheraton in stock a month or two earlier .I was pleased with the deal and noted that in other shops the standard Dot was 100 quid more expensive and no case .worth asking I found .
